    Description

    1998 GMC Sierra 2500 SLE 4X4 2500 5 speed, 5.7 liter V8.
The time has come for me to part with my very good looking 98 K2500!  I purchased the truck from the original owners daughter in Aug of 2019 while living in CO.  The truck originally came from Crawford NE and had been in the dry western climate since new.  The truck comes with the original window sticker and every service receipt to this date and mileage of 116,284 (this will go up slightly as I am still driving it) The truck has had the glasslite topper since 2000 and the box floor shows this!  Recent service includes a clutch at 107,000 miles, fuel pump, plugs, wires, and shocks at 108,000, intake manifold gaskets, and valve cover gaskets  and two new batteries at 111,000, water pump, alternator, belt, and tensioner at 115000. I added the 285/75R16 Falken Wild Peaks that now have about 4000 miles on them, I also installed the classic warn bumper and M8000 (pristine original bumper included).  The truck was never abused or offroaded I just really like the look of these older warn bumpers. Since the truck spent most of its life in a dry climate there is hardly any corrosion present.  There is a tiny rust bubble above the drivers side windshield, and a small scratch dent on the passenger lower box side, along with a small dent behind the drivers front fender flare.  Shortly after I bought the truck I relocated to Lincoln NE so the truck did develop some very minor surface rust on the chassis.
Everything functions as it should, I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country tomorrow.
