Antique US Calvary Leather Saddle Bags U.S. Stamped

Description

These bags are marked US as pictured and are in very good shape for their age...the leather is still supple and few signs of cracking. The small straps above the bag cover which I am unaware of their purpose have worn ends. Should be a good addition to someones collection. These saddle bags could have been used from Indian Wars up until the US calvary was eliminated.
