Artillery Lance Corporal - M1872 Chevron - Original Indian Wars

Description

An original Indian War chevron for a Lance Corporal in the Artillery.
This bright red chevron has dark blue silk stitching.
It was used from 1872 to 1902.
This large wool chevron was worn on the upper sleeve.
It is in excellent, unissued condition, with no tears, holes or moth damage.  The silk chain stitching is tight and strong.
