A whole-house humidifier can be a great addition to your home. Maintaining the right humidity level in your home keeps you feeling more comfortable at a lower set temperature, helps to preserve the structural integrity of your home, including that of wood floors, cabinets, and furniture, and has many health benefits including the reduction of allergy and asthma symptoms, as well as the reduced likelihood of respiratory infections.
The Generalaire 570M Whole House Small Flow-through Humidifier uses evaporative humidification to circulate humidity throughout your home. Unlike Fan-Powered humidifiers, bypass humidifiers are not equipped with a fan to move air through the vents of your home. Instead, bypass humidifiers rely on the blower motor located in your furnace to push the humidified air throughout your home.  This humidifier features UV - stable automotive-grade plastics and KineticFlo water distribution system for maximum evaporative performance.
The Generalaire 570M is capable of producing up to 12 gallons per day, covering up to 2,000 square feet of living space in a tightly built home.  This humidifier comes equipped with a humidistat that supports manual humidity control only. The user sets indoor humidity levels by hand.
