    Description

Here is another extremely rare cartridge box from the old Indian Wars collection we are digging out of decades long storage. The box is closed at one end with a latch tab and stud, and hinges up from that end. Patent information on the back and manufacture Joseph J. Walton of New York.
USN heavily embossed on the front.
The original block drilled for metallic cartridges is missing, and replaced by a block of plain pine.
Appears to have never been used or issued, but does need verdigras wiped off from our 25 years of neglect.
    Shipping weight 3 pounds.
