Has 7 on plate and side buttons are standard Cavalry as shown. Stamped on inside of leather sweatband W H Horstmann Co. Contract March 4th, 1890 (possibly 1898). Hat in excellent condition as shown. Has paper sticker in top marked size 7. See photos.

    Indian Wars US Army 7th Cavalry M1881 Sun Helmet W. H. Horstmann Co. 1890 Sz 7.  Mounted Cavalry helmet with Yellow cords and plume.  Has 7 on plate and side buttons are standard Cavalry as shown.  Stamped on inside of leather sweatband W H Horstmann Co.  Contract March 4th, 1890 (possibly 1898).  Hat in excellent condition as shown.  Has paper sticker in top marked size 7.  See photos.
