What It's Not
The item offered here is from Iraq but IS NOT a license plate.
I purchased it a few months ago from a dishonest seller in England
who misrepresented it as a diplomatic plate. I discovered after extensive research and
speaking to people much smarter then myself this not an authentic state issue.
This item does not conform to any Iraqi license plate format and the Arabic script translates into gibberish.
What It Probably Is
Much like young Victorian girls who produced textile samplers to show off their proficiency with needlework
this item is believed to be a sampler produced by an Iraqi apprentice to show off their skill producing license plates.
It is from Iraq. It is cool.  Make sure it's for you.
