M1866 ACS German Made Yataghan Chassepot Sword Bayonet with Scabbard

Description

Model 1866 Yataghan Chassepot Sword Bayonet with Scabbard.
The ricasso is marked "A" with scales, there is also two French marks, a "B" in a circle and the other is illegible. The crossguard has "F 33895" on it.
The spine is unmarked. The brass guard is solid and shows typical wear. The blade is unsharpened, and has some minor age spots scattered throughout. Lock button is functional. The scabbard has a "5" on the ball finial, an "A 71289" and what looks like  "95.P 43.86". Overall the scabbard is solid with a couple very small dings and the entire scabbard has been painted black at some point (light scattered paint loss). Length of the blade measures 22 9/16" (1 3/16" wide x 5/16" thick), the bayonet is 27 3/8", and overall in the scabbard it is 28". The muzzle hole is 11/16".
