    Description

    This is a Model 1873 rear sight for a Springfield trapdoor rifle.  It was removed from a rifle manufactured in 1874.  After removing a heavy coating of old varnish, the sight retains a great deal of original blue.  The markings are clear.
    The spring is a new replacement.  This comes with the original slotless screws.
