About this Item:
Rare Frito Lay Cheetos Mouse Advertising Premium Fabric Doll circa 1972. This was an advertising / mail away premium fabric doll and very few were made. I have rarely seen them come up for auction in my 30+ years of collecting Frito-Lay memorabilia.
He measures about 12 inches long.
Great condition with good color no rips or tears. One
very
minor stain on the flower on his chest at the 2 o'clock position (see photos).
Overall, 96+ on a 100 point scale...pretty good for a doll at nearly 50 years of age!
The Cheetos Mouse was a rather sophisticated, well-spoken mouse, who yearned for the crunch of his beloved Chee-tos. He was designed by Paul Coker, Jr., who worked on many of the Rankin-Bass Christmas specials.
The mouse was Cheetos
' original mascot and
debuted in 1971 and disappeared around 1979.
I will take great care in packing your item to ensure it arrives to you safely.
