Reborn Jayden "awake" by Natalie Scholl

Description

I painted Jayden with many layers of light mottling consisting of 5 different colors and over the top of the light mottling, his complexion shade. Jayden is a 20" baby reborn doll that has full limbs on a doe suede cloth body.
He is creased and blushed. I inserted blue black flatback German glass eyes and hand applied his eyelashes. Jayden can also be a girl if you so wish.
I painted 2 layers of heat matte varnish over him when the paint work was done to seal the paint and protect him from scratches. I hand rooted his head with brown wavy mohair and sealed it on the inside of his head with glue. I have also given him a magnet behind his mouth for a magnetic pacifier.
Jaden is weighted in his arms and legs with crystal glass weighting beads. There is also some inside his body. He weighs from 4-5 pounds.
