Serpent And The Rainbow Rare Promotional Wooden Coffin.
This is a very rare promotional item from Wes Craven's 1988 film THE SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW. This promotional item was displayed by movie theaters in the ticket sales window and is in excellent condition.
Included:
1) Wooden Coffin, measuring roughly 7 3/4 inches by 3 inches. Printed on the top is "DON'T BURY ME . . . " and on the front side "THE SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW" and on the inside "I'M NOT DEAD!" Solid black wood, with red paint.
2) Small vial of “zombie powder.”
3) Cardboard paper bookmark with movie poster logo on front.
4) Black plastic spider.
5) Parchment paper with "Dear Friend, . . . " letter. Includes recipe for making Zombie Powder, little known facts about zombies, and information about an actual medically documented case of a zombie.
All in all, a great souvenir from a super spooky movie! Great addition to anyone's collection of Wes Craven memorabilia.
