Sharps Conversion Combination Screwdriver – Original

Description

This Sharps Conversion Combination Screwdriver was first used right after the Civil War.
It is in excellent condition.  The swinging blade moves easily.
Information from the Army Ordnance Department’s “Description and Rules for the Management of Sharp’s Carbine, 1868” indicates that these combination screwdrivers were modified from the Model 1863 Combination Tool at the Springfield Armory.
It is 3 1/8 inches long.
