    Description

    Here is an exceptional example of an Officers 1883-pattern Blue Forage Cap. The Cap is in fantastic condition for it's age as can be seen in the photos with no mothing or other damage to the blue fabric. The sweatband in intact with the exception of about 1 1/2in where the stitching is missing and is marked size 7 1/8. The oilcloth liner still has it drawstring and as you can see from the photos is in excellent condition. The bill is fully attached in in super condition as is the braided chinstrap and Staff Officer's buttons
