Just place it in your current setup on your eyepiece or camera and it works.Highest quality hydrogen alpha 1.7 angstrom solar telescope secondary blocking filter. Use for double stacking hydrogen alpha telescope's. Filter is manufactured in the USA by Andover corporation. This filter is used to "Double stack" a Lunt, or coronado, daystar or solar spectrum filter that you already own so it will produce contrast equal to or better than a second etalon. Condition is New. Shipped with Flat Rate Envelope. These filters are fully mounted in a standard 1.25" filter adapter so you can attach it directly to your eyepiece or camera. 13mm x 13mm filter with 10mm clear aperture. These filter's have filed tested proven performance as a "double stack" upgrade at the eyepiece with your current h-alpha filter. These filters are narrower than Lunt and Coronado blocking filters, and is intended to remove the unwanted off band bandwidth from your etalon. Filter must be paired with a hydrogen alpha etalon and energy rejection and blocking filter for advertised results. You can experiment however you wish, but I only advertise these to be used with existing solar equipment made by Lunt, Coronado and daystar. People modify their equipment with different results, there may be other use options that I have not tested. Please be aware that I must pay ebay and paypal fees to utilize this service.

Many users are asking why my filter is blue. The truth is that all hydrogen alpha etalon's are blue, and the red color is only seen by the additional energy rejection filter which is red. I have taken apart a lunt etalon to show you the true color nature of these narrow band filters. All hydrogen alpha filters made for solar use require this additional filter, and if you already own a hydrogen alpha etalon system the ERF will already be installed; a second is not required. My filter is intended to be inserted on top of your blocking filter.
