~Estate Find~ EXTREMELY RARE US HOME SERVICE ARMY OFFICERS PITH HELMET 1880's
US ARMY INDIAN WARS ERA
This original  officers helmet comes out of a long time collection and is being offered for sale for the first time in several decades.
We are unsure what the number 10 represents,  but assume it was the regiment number.
There are a couple of links missing on the chin strap (see pictures) but this piece displays extremely well.
You will have to search long and hard to find another original helmet like this in this good of condition and complete with the horse hair crown.
